Era hip hip hooray

I agree with the ideas of the era. I feel that both men wand woman are equal and deserve equal rights, opportunities and protections. Why is there still no law that says that all humans are equal? It's similar to the racists beliefs that were seen in the civil rights movement. There are still sexist out there even though most people think that this is wrong and there for I think there should be a law. Though I feel if a law was drafted today it would have trouble passing. I think there is alot of sexist ideas that people still have and we would see a big opposition to the era. I feel like democrats would vote it in for the most part. I feel republicans struggle with the whole common sence thing far too often and would make an argument that half the country would follow for some reason. And I feel the t party would probably try killing the woman or something because they are simply crazy.
